How to add a SendFox signup form to your RooQR bio page

Referral disclosure: Our SendFox links may be referral links. RooQR may receive a referral benefit at no extra cost to you. SendFox’s usual plan fees still apply.

Collect subscribers directly in your SendFox account

Add a SendFox Form content block to any RooQR bio template, on Home or an additional page. Visitors submit directly to the list you choose in SendFox. You do not need to connect Mailchimp, share an API key, or give RooQR access to your SendFox account.

You need access to RooQR’s bio page editor and your own SendFox account. SendFox supports embeds on every plan; its Free plan currently includes one form, which you can reuse on multiple pages. Check SendFox’s current limits before choosing a plan. You are responsible for your own provider account, campaigns and any upgrades. Embedding does not change your RooQR plan.

1. Create and publish your form in SendFox

  1. Sign in to your own SendFox account.
  2. Open Growth → Forms and click Create form.
  3. Choose On my website and select the list new signups should join. If necessary, create your list first.
  4. Use Customize everything to open the full editor. On Form, choose your fields, such as first name and email, and your button text. Enable a required consent checkbox and write clear consent wording for your newsletter. Keep the box unchecked by default.
  5. On Display, select Inline. Popup, slide-in and sticky-bar modes are not the intended setup for a RooQR content block.
  6. On Design, choose colours, button styling and corner radius to suit your RooQR template. SendFox controls the embedded form’s appearance; RooQR controls the surrounding page.
  7. On Settings, check Add signups to lists and Allowed embed domains. Add the exact domain you use for the published page, such as rooqr.com. If you also share the page using rooqr.base44.app, allow that domain too. Follow the domain format shown by SendFox, without an @handle or page path.
  8. Check your success message, confirmation settings and optional thank-you redirect. For a redirect, use a real full HTTPS URL you control.
  9. Click Publish form, then open Get code → Embed code and copy the recommended one-line script. Later you can find it under the form’s ⋮ → Get embed code menu.

2. Choose the RooQR page

  1. Sign in to RooQR and open Bio pages.
  2. Create a bio page or edit an existing one. Choose your template and complete the profile details if you are starting a new bio.
  3. At the top of the editor, find Your pages. To place the form on an existing page, select that page’s button. To give your newsletter its own page, click Add page.
  4. For a new page, enter a Page name, such as Newsletter, and a unique Page address, such as newsletter. Your address will be /@your-handle/newsletter. Keep the new page selected while adding its content.

3. Add the SendFox Form content block

  1. Open the Content Blocks section.
  2. Click Add Content Block. A scrollable picker opens; choose SendFox Form, the first option. All options can be scrolled on mobile, tablet and desktop.
  3. Enter a heading for the block, such as Join my newsletter.
  4. Paste your copied script into SendFox embed code. RooQR accepts the official one-line loader from cdn.sendfox.com/js/embed.js or sendfox.com/js/embed.js, with a valid data-form value and data-api set to https://sendfox.com. Other HTML, extra scripts and API keys are not supported.
  5. Look for SendFox form accepted. If it is not accepted, recopy the recommended embed code from SendFox instead of modifying it manually.
  6. Use the block’s move-up or move-down controls if you want to change its position. You can add one SendFox form per page; additional pages can each have their own form.
  7. Click Save Bio Page. Saving applies to the complete bio site, including its additional pages.

Example embed code

This example uses a form ID supplied for illustration. Always paste the code from your own SendFox form, not another creator’s ID.

<script src="https://cdn.sendfox.com/js/embed.js" data-form="m78erl" data-api="https://sendfox.com" async></script>

4. Check the published signup

  1. Open your published RooQR page using its public address. For an additional page, open that page from the bio navigation.
  2. Check that the form loads and the consent checkbox is visible and initially unchecked. Editor previews are non-submitting; use the public page for a real signup.
  3. Submit an address you control and agree to receive the newsletter.
  4. In SendFox, check that the contact appears in the selected list. Follow any confirmation step configured by SendFox.
  5. If you change a list, field, colour or success message in SendFox, publish those changes there and refresh the public RooQR page. The loader uses your current SendFox configuration; you usually do not need to paste the code again unless the form ID changes.

Where subscribers and emails are managed

New SendFox signups are stored in the creator’s SendFox account. RooQR does not provide a subscriber list. RooQR does not send signup confirmation emails or newsletter campaigns for this form. SendFox controls confirmation, success messages, sending limits and delivery. Consent wording and sender responsibilities belong to the creator.

RooQR’s former subscriber list and CSV export section have been removed. Manage subscribers, lists, consent, exports and opt-outs directly in SendFox. Earlier RooQR unsubscribe links still work for those historical signups; they do not unsubscribe someone from SendFox.

Troubleshooting

  • No SendFox option: open Content Blocks → Add Content Block, then choose SendFox Form at the top. If a newsletter block already exists, edit it and paste its SendFox code, or remove it before adding a replacement.
  • Form not enabled for this website: add the public page’s exact domain to the form’s Allowed embed domains in SendFox and publish the change. A builder preview can use a different domain, so check the published page before assuming the form is broken.
  • Form does not appear: confirm the form is published, the code was accepted, the bio was saved, the correct subpage is open, and SendFox’s display mode is Inline. Check that the SendFox account is not paused or restricted. Ad blockers or network restrictions may prevent external scripts loading.
  • Consent checkbox missing: enable it in SendFox’s form settings and publish the updated form. RooQR does not add a second consent checkbox to the provider’s form.
  • Signup missing in RooQR: this is expected. Look in the chosen SendFox list. RooQR no longer offers a subscriber list.
  • Form preview will not submit: previews intentionally prevent signups. Open the published page to subscribe.
  • Saved page will not save: paste a valid SendFox embed into every newly added SendFox block, or remove the unfinished block. Use only one form per page.
  • Downloaded HTML: configured SendFox forms are included, but need internet access and an allowed hosted domain. A locally opened HTML file may not be allowed by SendFox; use the published RooQR page or host the export on a domain permitted in SendFox.
